Lillian was born in Meanjin, and now lives in Naarm. She listens to, and writes on, a wide range of music - but tries to do so in a way that is thoughtful, ambitious, and always unbalanced.

Levi Kohler (they/them) is a music producer, singer-songwriter, DJ, writer and creative based in Meanjin (Brisbane) and Naarm (Melbourne).

Levi has produced for a number of local artists including Georgia Simone, ZZADE and Monet's Pond, and provided over an hour of original music for the 2022 Brisbane Festival show “Brown Church”.

Melissa Griffin is a multi-medium creative with a strong passion for music and the subcultures born from them.

Working in the thick of the local music industry on Kaurna Land (Adelaide), Melissa keeps her finger on the pulse of the local scene – favouring Australian contemporary pub-rock and UK post-punk.

Selin Ruby Kaya is originally from the Apple Isle of Lutruwita/Tasmania and considers herself a total indie-rock tragic.

When not basking in the sun on her mustard velvet couch in Brunswick studying for law school, she loves telling the stories of musicians in longer form feature pieces.

Aidan Williams is a full time third year Journalism student at RMIT Melbourne. He currently writes for Beat and Mixdown Magazine out of Melbourne.

Sisi Sparkle (she/her), is a music journalist raised in the Meanjin arts community.

Moshing at festivals and going to gigs electrifies her and her writing. Feminist punk and psychedelic music are her favourite genres, but they’re ever changing.
